Buy Links: Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link - Exclusive to Amazon and Available to Borrow with Kindle Unlimited

Length: 70,000 words approx.

Blurb

Andy's a recent college graduate with a mountain of debt and a load of regret over earning a degree he'll never use. When he takes a job at a local gay bar, he doesn't expect the first person to catch his eye to be the man he's been dreaming about since a chance encounter.

Joshua's comfortable in his life. He has an amazing son who's wise beyond his years, an ex-wife who's one of his best friends, and a great job. Now, if only those closest to him would quit hounding him to start dating again after the divorce.

Joshua finds what's been missing with the other people he's tried dating the first time Andy slips up and calls him Daddy. What starts as a slip of the tongue could lead to what both men really need and want.

Quinn writes LGBTQ romance with a kick. Their stories center around the relationship building between the characters, but also shows how compatible they are in the bedroom (or wherever else the urge strikes).

Kiss Me, Daddy (Club 83, #1)Kiss Me, Daddy by Quinn Ward
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It started with an adorable scene when Andy met Jordan the first time. Memorable, but not really pleasant for Andy. With thought that Jordan was happily married with a very proper ten year old son, Andy had no chance. Or so, he thought.
But apparently Jordan is single and available, sure he had to 'explained' everything to Andy before something's happened between them.
Kiss me Daddy was a fine read with a daddy kink, insta-love and an overprotective Daddy for his boy.
Light, low angst with some family matters, Jordan's son is actually too mature for his own age. But then, some kids are old souls, we're sometimes cannot understand how their head works.
I enjoyed this book, and a nice distraction when I rested my legs after a very exhausted hiking. Mount Fuji is really a hard work, but Andy and Jordan entertained me, and I'm good :)

Viper (Fallen Angel #2)Viper by Brooke Blaine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“I don’t want a million guys. I want the one who’s already here.”

Oooh someone needed a slap in his head before he's got his happy ending. Hard. Like the song he wrote.
Book one of Fallen Angel series ended with Halo's first experience of having sex with a guy, and Viper was more than happy to fulfill that.
The problem is, Viper doesn't do relationship, and Halo is a romantic. So much differences, so much to worry about.

Halo had me so wound up that I wanted to steal him away so he only looked at me, talked to me, thought about me, and the idea of having even a couple hours more with him alone this morning made me happier than a kid at a damn candy store.

I like Killian, I think he's the adult one in the band, while Viper and Halo danced around each other, avoiding to 'talk', until it's too late. And hurt both of them at one point.
The reluctantly of Viper to admit that he's falling for Halo, his stubbornness, was kinda irritated me. I don't want anybody hurt my Halo. He's an angel ffs!

Viper took us to the next step of Halo and Viper's relationship, to reach their happy ending without stuck in the past and admitting their feeling to each other. Especially for Viper.
I was pissed at Viper at first, but then he redeem it by saying something I was waiting for, to Halo, and I forgave him instantly.

“I’m so fucking sorry for everything I said to you. Everything I did. None of it was true, Angel. You were right. I was scared. I am scared, because what I feel for you is more powerful than anything I’ve ever felt in my life. And the idea that I’ve lost you, that I’ve pushed you away—”

Then I'm good. And cannot wait for "Angel", and that would be a perfect birthday present for me on April 25!

ARC REVIEW : Upside Down by N.R. Walker

44292759

Jordan O’Neill isn’t a fan of labels, considering he has a few. Gay, geek, a librarian, socially awkward, a nervous rambler, an introvert, an outsider. The last thing he needs is one more. But when he realizes adding the label ‘asexual’ might explain a lot, it turns his world upside down.

Hennessy Lang moved to Surry Hills after splitting with his boyfriend. His being asexual had seen the end of a lot of his romances, but he’s determined to stay true to himself. Leaving his North Shore support group behind, he starts his own in Surry Hills, where he meets first-time-attendee Jordan.

A little bewildered and scared, but completely adorable, Hennessy is struck by this guy who’s trying to find where he belongs. Maybe Hennessy can convince Jordan that his world hasn’t been turned upside down at all, but maybe it’s now—for the first time in his life—the right way up.

 REVIEW

Upside DownUpside Down by N.R. Walker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I had a giddy feeling every time some authors mentioned that their new character(s) are Ace (asexual).
I had a bad experience once with one book in particular, how in my eyes, the Happy ending relationship was never actually a happy ending for both of MCs.
But this is Nic Walker and I dig in as soon as this book appeared on my kindle. And of course, NR Walker never disappoint me. Like, every time.
Jordan and Hennessy are likeable and adorable two asexual young men that by fate, found each other.
I loved Jordan and his blabbering awkwardness, and his favorite word that make people cringe, lol.

Upside Down is a page turner tale of two young men who's still want to believe that they deserves to be happy in the end, no matter what their preferences in the bedroom, or not.
That there are some people out there who understand them, and can live with that. And they could still be whoever they're wanted to be.

I laugh a lot, I cried, and ooh-ing and aahh-ing, especially when it comes to their dialogues, and the amazing 'soup team'!
And still, there's one thing I need the answer :
"Why people don't call cereal a soup?" Can anybody find the answer? :P

And for those who's looking for sex in this story, don't expect too much. This is about 'two> asexual MCs anyways :)

ARC REVIEW : The Coincidence by Felice Stevens

44154781

Nice guys always finish last, and Coby Epstein is sick and tired of being last. After his boyfriend dumps him, Coby vows to take it slow and not jump into another relationship, no matter what his ninety-five-year-old great aunt says. When Coby sees his ex has moved on, he goes on a series of disastrous first dates and swears off men, determined to be alone. His best friend disagrees and finds the “perfect man” for him online and arranges a date. The only problem? Coby has no idea what she’s done.

Since childhood, Eli Kaplan has been his father’s greatest disappointment, a fact he’s reminded of at every opportunity. For years, he’s struggled with the knowledge that dating women doesn’t work for him. A late-night confession to his brother changes everything and Eli realizes, maybe, just maybe, he can come out, find himself, and find love. Eli takes the plunge and creates a profile on a dating website, not knowing what to expect. One night he chats with an intriguing man, and despite his nervousness, they arrange to meet for coffee. No big deal. They’ll probably never see each other again.

On the day of their first date, nothing could surprise Coby and Eli more than to discover that they live in the same apartment building, on the same floor. In a city of eight million people, coincidences don’t get crazier than that. But as the two men begin to weave their lives together with cautious optimism and hope for a future, they find an even greater thread holding their families together—one born from the ashes of a final solution that couldn’t destroy their ancestors’ courage, leaving scars that remain almost a century later. Past lives torn apart can be pieced together by a future no one could have ever imagined, where love is more than fate or coincidence. It’s meant to be.

The CoincidenceThe Coincidence by Felice Stevens
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I believe that The Coincidence is Felice's most personal story, at least, some of Eli and Coby's background were very close to reality.
Eli and Coby met in a very modern way, online dating site. Who knows, that coincidence by coincidence happened after they get to know each other better.
Do you believe in fate? I do. Universe has a funny way to make anything happen the way it supposed to happen. No matter where we are, or what we do, fate will make it work.
The Coincidence is a sweet and adorable story with a strong family issue, an old story about their roots.
Heartbreaking, but at the same time, this is a heartwarming story about finding yourself and be what you are supposed to be, no matter how much you pay for that.

It's no secret that I always love Felice's writing, and The Coincidence is a page turner romance with two strong characters that meant to be together in a first place.
And of course a HEA that guaranteed to make me happy!

“Meow!”

There it was.

The sound that made my knees buckle.

He purred, neck stretched, eyes half-lidded.

With those cat ears, in his hair.

And the tail, that he flicked.

A ray of sun in the drizzling rain. I’d been a traveler, floating adrift, while he’d stayed in one place. How was I supposed to know he’d become my anchor? My light. My everything. But would I ever become his?

***As a standalone romance, “Black” features detailed adult m/m content, a hurt/comfort relationship as well as "kitty play."

Excerpt

I waited for Tony, curled up on the couch with my cat ears perched in my hair. It had been nearly an hour, and I was starting to get impatient. Every time my hard-on started to die down, a new thought of all the filthy stuff we could get into made it shoot back up. I felt lightheaded from the lack of blood in my brain.

The doorbell rang, and I shot off the couch, buzzing him in.

Moving onto my hands and knees, I crawled to the door and plucked it open, listening for Tony’s footsteps. I recognized the way he moved, and this was surely him. The sound of his heavy yet careful feet against the wood made my heart skip. I sat up with my knees together, palms resting on the floor in front of them. The eager kitty waiting for its Master to come home. If I had a tail, I would have been flicking it.

A sturdy knock faintly vibrated the door in the frame.

“Dima?” Tony called. He pushed the door more as he stepped in.

He made it over the threshold, and then he stopped, sucking in a loud breath. I couldn’t read his facial expression, but I imagined he was gaping. I doubted he expected me to answer the door naked, hard, and with my ears on.

“Dima?” he murmured. “Jesus….”

“Meow.” An eager greeting for Tony. I moved towards him, head butting against his legs before I twined myself around them. Once, twice, I circled around his legs. Ending in front of him, I reached out and dug my nails into his thighs. My back curled into a sharp arch as I looked up towards him, cocking my head to the side. I purred quietly.

Tony’s hand fanned through my hair, stroking it. “You’re too much,” he murmured.

Damn right I was.

I wasn’t going to make it easy for him to resist.

My hands brushed up, trailing over his cock. He moaned low, and my lips twitched towards a smirk. I nuzzled into his crotch, meowing again. He swelled under my touch while I scratched my nails down his thighs again. His fingers tried to tighten in my hair, but I turned away from him quickly.

Back facing him, I dropped my hands down and crawled towards the couch, letting him see the plug that peered from between my cheeks. Yeah, he wasn’t going to win this one.

"Then you came along, and showed me that even in the darkness, there is still light"

" Black, is a sexy but heartbreaking romance with a kink that you don't want to miss out! Tony set a high standard as a book boyfriend and no one's more perfect for Dima. This book will break your heart, and warmth it at the same time!"

These authors are getting better and better. I never a fan of this kink before. But Quin Perin wrote a steamy hot story, but also a heartbreaking one and made me wanted to cursed them for making me too involved with Dima and Tony!

Started out as a fling, Dima and Tony found each other like a perfect puzzle. Tony fallen for. Dima, hard.
But what about Dima? He had been through a lot in a past, and he still had a dream to achieve. Will Tony enough to make him stay, or?
